The Yataghan Carabineros Police Issued M1908 bayonet is a distinctive sidearm used by the Chilean Carabineros (national police). It's a unique piece, made by combining elements of the French M1874 Gras bayonet with a cast brass hilt. This bayonet was specifically designed for the Policías Fiscales (Fiscal Police), which later became the Carabineros.
This blade and scabbard pre date WW2 and is in exceptional condition, bearing the Republica de chile seal and stamped serial number 227A
