This was the first product from Picquot by John Souter in 1947. He made wares made by combining manganese & aluminum and cast them in one piece to ensure they would never leak. The style was very advanced for the age. The handles are of sycamore to compliment the magnailium metal. 
Very useable today. 
They do show some signs of use.
