Pair of rare Doulton Lambeth gas lamp fittings, ornate components with pierced stoneware bodys, which was a specialization of the Doulton Lambeth factory. 
used as the base for a decorative part of a gas lamp assembly.
The fittings are specifically from the Doulton Lambeth factory, not the later Royal Doulton.
Both items show signs relative to age.
