Superb pair of large hand carved ebonised hardwood elephants  with tusks and eyes carved from bone. They look truly amazing on display, very tactile. They do have a couple of age related shakes that certainly add to the items. The ears have been carved separately and then added and attached with proper pins and plugs. Exceptionally well made and very heavy!
