Chinese hexagonal tea caddy box, made from wood & bamboo veneer. The Chinese characters on the front translate to "Jasmine" (茉莉), indicating it is for jasmine tea. This box has hand carved & hand-painted floral & bird designs and date to the Chinese Republic period (1912–1949).
