vintage advertising piece for Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky, The tray features the iconic "Striding Man" logo in the center, a figure wearing Regency-era attire (top hat, coat, and boots). This logo was originally sketched by cartoonist Tom Browne in 1908. The phrases embossed on the tray—"Born 1820" and "Still Going Strong"—were the brand's first formal slogans, introduced alongside the logo to celebrate the year the original John Walker opened his grocery shop. 
Very highly polished, no dents no bends no nasty gouges, very nice example.
