Bronze Japanese Champleve vase, this Champleve decoration is typical in style and colour.
This is a dig or burial find coming from early Japan, it has proved impossible to accurately date this item so it is listed as archaic.
It is a fine example of this type of work with intricate designs, enameling and glass bead work which has survived remarkably well.
